We will be happy to provide you with an extra bed or a cot if required. A cot for children under 2 years of age is free of charge. For older children an extra bed is subject to a charge of 30.00 EUR per person per night excluding breakfast. For adults an extra bed is subject to a charge of 60.00 EUR per person per night excluding breakfast. Please be advised that only our comfort and superior rooms offer space for (a maximum of) one extra bed.
Your room should be vacated by 11:00 am.
There are dogs allowed at our Waldhotel Stuttgart. A certain number of our rooms are suitable for your stay with a dog, therefore the notification of your dog is needed at the reservation. However, dogs are not allowed in our classic rooms and suites; in consideration of our other guests, we additionally ask you to always keep dogs on a leash in our public areas. In our restaurant Finch and the sauna and fitness area dogs are not allowed. Your dog is very welcome to accompany you to our hotel bar. Our situation at the edge of the forest is ideal for walks; we therefore request that you do not use the hotel premises or the gardens for your pet's toiletry needs. A charge of 15.00 EUR is incurred per pet per day. Please inform us in advance if you are planning to arrive with a dog.
Please note that since January 01st, 2012 a new environmental zone for the Stuttgart city has been valid. That means that this zone cannot be used any longer without the green (4) environmental badge. You may apply for that badge at http://www.plakette24.de/environmental/badge.php
Whether it be culture or nature: Stuttgart and its surrounding area have a great deal to offer; the majority of the sights are easily accessible by car or public transport. Stuttgart's most well-known sights are almost certainly the Mercedes and the Porsche museums, but there is a great deal more besides to discover around Stuttgart. A guest information folder, in which we have compiled the most beautiful and attractive excursion destinations for you, is available in our lobby. City maps and information brochures are also available from reception.
Waldhotel Stuttgart offers three family-friendly comfort rooms with a connecting door. This offers you the convenience of two bedrooms (one room with king-size bed, one room with twin beds) and two bathrooms, whilst enabling you to enter your adjacent room through the connecting door at any time. Our young guests can also look forward to a children's playground in the garden at the rear of the hotel. Children under 6 years of age can sleep free of charge in their parents' room; their breakfast is on the house. Children aged between 7 and 12 pay 50% of the usual breakfast price, whilst the regular breakfast price of 21.00 EUR is charged for children over 13 years of age.
Waldhotel Stuttgart is a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is prohibited both in the guest rooms and in all public areas throughout the building. Smoking is exclusively permitted on our terrace and in front of the hotel entrance.
30 free parking spaces as well as a chargeable underground garage are available in front of the hotel (the first hour is free, from the second hour 2 EUR per hour, 12 EUR per day). The hotel also offers two charging stations for electric vehicles as well as a car2go parking space. Further free public parking facilities are also available in the vicinity of the hotel premises.

Waldhotel Stuttgart is located in the immediate vicinity of Stuttgart airport (10,2 km) and Stuttgart city centre (6,5 km). Our hotel is situated perfectly for you to make the best of your visit to Stuttgart.
Arriving by public transport
The Waldau/GAZi stadium and Ruhbank/television tower subway stations are located around a 5-minute walk away from the hotel. Both lines can be used to reach us from Stuttgart inner city within a few minutes without changing. From the Schlossplatz or main station, you can travel with line U 7 in the direction of Ostfildern/Nellingen up to the Waldau/GAZi stadium station when coming from Stuttgart city centre. With this line, you can reach us directly within less than 10 minutes without changing.
You can also take line U 15 in the direction of Ruhbank/television tower or Heumaden up to the Ruhbank/television tower station when travelling from the Schlossplatz or main station. If you have a little time to spare, we recommend taking this route under all circumstances, as it offers a wonderful journey through a villa district and a breathtaking view over the city.
